Atlanta Mother and Daughter Have Created the Most Delicious Line of Vegan Ice Pops
Pass the Raspberry Lavender icicle, please.
Summer is so close we can almost taste it. But if you want to taste it before the official kick off to picnic days, these ice pops from Perennial Pop Co. will get you in the spirit.
The vegan pops are crafted with love right outside of Atlanta by mother-and-daughter team Wendy and Chloe Collins. The two were inspired to create the tasty pops when Chloe found herself having a hard time eating conventional desserts.
"The concept for Perennial Pop Co.’s dairy-free cream pops was born out of Chloe‘s love of decadent desserts along with her dietary restrictions," the Collinses shared with Southern Living. "We were inspired by our appreciation for botanical flavors and the desire to incorporate natural, fair trade, allergy-friendly ingredients into a delicious, plant-based frozen dessert."
For now, you have to be in the Atlanta area — or lucky enough to attend a festival where the pops are sold — to try these dairy-free, gluten-free delights, but that could change as the Collinses family looks to expand into retail locations.
Currently, their lineup includes unique flavors like Blueberry Lemon Basil, Raspberry Lavender, Vanilla Rose, and more. The pops are free of artificial flavors, dyes, sweeteners, high fructose corn syrup, soy, nuts, and gluten. Pops are made with coconut, rice, and hemp milks to give the dessert a rich texture, without the dairy.

If you're in the Atlanta area, you can try the pops at Morningside Farmers Market and Green Market at Piedmont Park. Check the brand's Facebook and Instagram for up-to-date information about where you can get the pops each week.
Save room for dessert, friends.
