Ree Drummond Wishes Daughter Paige a Happy 21st Birthday With the Sweetest Message

It was a big day in Drummond-ville yesterday, with Paige Drummond—Ree and Ladd Drummond's second oldest of their four children—turning 21. It's hard to believe that the picture below of the family visiting New York City for a The Pioneer Woman magazine celebration was taken a few years ago, when Paige was 17-years-old and now she's a junior at the University of Arkansas. In fact, Paige rung in her big day on campus this year (but not without some cupcakes sent by mom and dad as the Kappa Kappa Gamma sister shared on her Instagram stories).

They may be apart, but Ree still took some time to reflect on Paige's character by posting a heartfelt birthday message on Instagram. "My beautiful girl Paige may be 21 today, but to me she'll always be my sweet little Paigie girl who looked like the Michelin baby," she wrote, alongside a photo of Paige as a chubby-cheeked youngster. "Paige is strong but tender, determined but loving, fierce but compassionate—a complex, layered soul that I thank God for every single day. Happy birthday, Paige!!!"

It's been quite the season of celebration for the Drummond family. On August 2, Alex Drummond, the Drummonds' eldest child, announced that she was engaged to her boyfriend Mauricio Scott. Following their engagement, The Pioneer Woman also took to social media on several occasions to express her excitement for the couple. In one post, the beaming mama wrote, "Happiness! ❤️ I'm the mom who always indoctrinated her daughters not to get married until they were twenty-eight. Alex obviously listens to every word I say. 😂 I'm sure glad she didn't, though, because we couldn't love Mauricio more. The timing is perfect for them. Love is beautiful!"

It's also been quite the stretch for Ree professionally, with her announcing that her new book Frontier Follies, a nonfiction work on marriage and motherhood on the Drummond Ranch, is available for preorder for its November 17, 2020 release.
