Fans of The CW’s One Tree Hill will recognize the pale blue home at 1811 Chestnut Street in Wilmington, North Carolina. The four-bedroom house, which served as Haley James Scott’s home in the long-running television drama, is currently on the market for $449,500. According to listing agent Lois Potratz, property has been experiencing a steady steam of visitors since it went up for sale on March 22nd.
“Since I’ve had the listing, it’s been kind of funny,” Potratz told The News & Observer. “I’ve had two open houses — half of the people that come in are serious buyers, and the other half are teenage girls who want to take their picture in the house.”
While fans of the series will no doubt appreciate that the home is where characters Haley and Nathan shared their first kiss, and later where Nathan asked her parents for her hand in marriage, serious buyers will find plenty to love about the historic home's countless real-life charms. In addition to a private backyard, the sun-filled 2,427-sqaure-foot home, which dates back to 1907, features a copper roof, a gracious front porch, a renovated kitchen with Brazilian granite counters, and a butler's pantry complete with a built-in wine cooler.
