Has the Pioneer Woman had a change of heart about bananas?

Ree Drummond loves sweets. So much, in fact, that she recently opened Charlie's Sweet Shop, an ice cream and treats emporium, in Pawhuska, Oklahoma.

But if you're a lover of all things bananas, we're afraid you're out of luck in Ree-town. "I have a restaurant and bakery, and there's not a singular banana in the whole joint," Drummond recently told Fox News, when she stopped by the network in celebration of her new line with Purina of Pioneer Woman dog treats.

"Every once in a while, one of the customers [in Pawhuska] will ask, ‘You think you'll ever have a banana cream pie?' and the answer is always no," she laughs.

Admittedly, she's made a slight concession at Charlie's Sweet Shop, allowing for a banana split to grace the menu. But don't expect Drummond to order one anytime soon. Drummond has long avoided the yellow fruit and we won't hold our breaths for banana bread or pudding sneaking into any more of The Pioneer Woman's eateries.
