Kaylee Foster does it all!

Shortly after trading in her tiara and ballgown for a helmet and cleats, Kaylee Foster lead her Mississippi football team to a nail-biting victory.

Foster, Ocean Springs High School football’s star kicker, was crowned the 2018 homecoming queen during pregame festivities at Greyhound Stadium Friday night. A few hours later, the game against George County High School was tied. By the end of regulation, Foster had already kicked two field goals, giving her the majority of the team’s points.

With her long blonde hair crammed beneath her helmet, the talented teen made her way onto the field once again—this time, to kick the winning extra point in overtime, propelling the Ocean Springs Greyhounds to a 13-12 win over the Rebels.

"I really don't have any words," Foster, standing on the field wearing her football uniform and queen's tiara, told The Mississippi Press afterward. "This has just been so wonderful. I love football and I love Ocean Springs."

When she was asked whether she was more nervous before the homecoming court announcement or her kick, she told the paper, “I was pretty sure I wasn’t going to be homecoming queen, but I was pretty sure I was going to make that kick.”

Congratulations, Kaylee!
