From family-friendly options to reality series, here's what's coming to Netflix in December.

Looking for something festive to stream this holiday season? We've got you covered. From Hallmark Movies Now to Hulu, HBO Max, and more, there's no shortage of superb yuletide content to enjoy on a streaming platform near you.

Now, we're excited to share Netflix's lineup of new holiday content scheduled for December, featuring a mix of movies, kids' content, and Netflix Original Series. Among the new holiday flicks and series, there are several we're particularly excited about. First up, on December 1, we'll definitely be queuing up The Holiday Movies That Made Us, a Netflix Original Series that does a deep dive into beloved holiday classic movies, Elf and The Nightmare Before Christmas with cast and crew interviews and a behind-the-scenes peek at the making of the films. Then, on December 4, we're looking forward to another Netflix Original Series, The Great British Baking Show: Holidays, back for Season 3 with eight returning bakers making the most marvelous of wintry desserts. Movie-wise, we're looking forward to children's movie Mighty Express: A Mighty Christmas on December 5, which Netflix describes as a real nail-biter as Mandy Mail sets out to "deliver a load of late Christmas letters to the North Pole, [with all the trains joining in] to help Santa deliver the presents during a big storm." We also eagerly anticipate hitting our couch for Just Another Christmas on December 3, a Brazlian film that's sure to provide plenty of laughs as the lead character Jorge who finds himself waking up on Christmas Eve for a year straight.

And let us not forget How to Ruin Christmas: The Wedding debuting on December 16, a series which chronicles the character Tumi Sello as she tries to salvage her younger sister's Christmas wedding from disaster. And then there's family-friendly Ashley Garcia: Genius in Love: Christmas out on December 9, which centers around Ashley Garcia, a 15-year-old scientist and the bizarre events that follow when she bumps her head at a holiday gathering, providing her a glimpse into the future. Needless to say, we're going to be spending a lot of time watching Netflix next month.
