Texas Deputy "Grabs Bull By The Horns," Escorts Gallivanting Longhorn Safely Home
Only in Texas, is right!
That's exactly what the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office said after one of its deputies was forced to wrangle a gallivanting bull recently. Deputy Greg Harris Sr. went viral on social media after the sheriff's office shared a photo of him gently escorting a bull named Samson down a neighborhood street and back home on Sunday.
"Only in Texas!!!" the caption begins. "Our Deputies believe in "grabbing the bull by the horns" to get the job done! Onto the next call!! Never a boring day! #Deputylife #CopLife #StruggleisReal"
"We are told the neighborhood knows him well, and he is very gentle so it didn't take much to get him home," the sheriff's office told Fox News, adding that Samson was escorted home that same afternoon.
In the short time since it was posted, the photo has been liked more than 1,700 times and shared nearly 5,000 times.

"I love it!" one woman commented. "This is only one of the reasons I love Texas." Others couldn't resist a pun. "He's doing a great job ‘steering' it down the road, too!" one chimed in.
We hope Samson enjoyed his little adventure!
