Unable to Take His Daughter to Disney World, Dad Brings Moana to Texas
There's nothing like homegrown Disney magic!
Unfortunately, Ray Garza couldn't take his daughter Sofie to Disney World to meet her favorite Disney princess for her sixth birthday this year. But the Harris County sheriff's deputy wasn't about to let her dreams die. Instead, he did the next best thing: he brought Disney to her.
In lieu of flying the entire family to Florida, Garza secretly arranged to have a Moana impersonator surprise Sofie and her friends during her birthday party at their Houston home over the weekend. The devoted dad shared a video of the moment "Moana" arrived at the bash on Twitter.

"Couldn't take Sofie to Disney so I brought Disney to her," he captioned the clip (below).
The video shows a Moana lookalike (magical oar and all!) entering the home and giving an excited Sofie a big hug. The star of the 2016 hit posed for photos with the kids and even read them a book.
"Happy Birthday princess...Daddy loves you," Garza wrote on Twitter when the party was over.
Well done, dad!
