What's in a Milky Way? Oh, let us count the ways we love thee: The tasty milk chocolate exterior, the smooth, airy nougat, the gooey caramel. Our list stretches as long as the galaxy its named after (okay, maybe not that long).

Now, the confectionery whizzes at Mars-Wrigley are introducing a new bar to add to the Milky Way family of treats. Set to debut nationwide next week, Brand Eating reports, the candy will have a rich, fudge nougat replacing the original nougat. And there will be two ways to get your fudgy fix: Milky Way Fudge will be available in both share size, which includes two bars and minis, notes a Mars company press release.

The classic Milky Way was developed in 1923, and as we inch closer to its centennial, we can't wait to see how the brand continues to dazzle our palates — and the spiral galaxy at large.
