With the announcement of her engagement to Prince Harry, Meghan Markle now has a permanent place in the international spotlight. However, the attention isn't necessarily a new concept for the American actress who you probably recognize fromher roles on the small screen. While she had a long run on the USA Network series Suits, we bet you remember her from a number of roles on our favorite channel and yours, Hallmark. As such, Prince Harry's fiancé is no stranger to fairytales having starred in some of our favorite Hallmark movies with adorably happy endings, just like her whirlwind romance with her Prince. Let's take a trip down memory lane, shall we?

The first movie Meghan starred in was When Sparks Fly in 2014. She plays an unhappy journalist named Amy Peterson who returns to her hometown to write a story about her life growing up with parents who own a fireworks business. During the Fourth of July trip, she is tasked with playing wedding planner for her best friend who just happens to be marrying her ex-boyfriend. The trip opens her eyes to feelings from her past and the life she's been looking for.

In 2016, Meghan returned to Hallmark Channel in the Dater's Handbook playing Cassandra Barber. The movie follows along as she uses a self-help book to help her find the right man, which is deemed necessary after a string of failed suitors. In the end, she has to decide whether to follow expert advice or her heart. We bet you already know which she chooses.
