That’s right, and “Love in Paradise” is re-airing next week!

Sure, you know him from his days as the brooding Dylan McKay on Beverly Hills, 90210, and later as Fred Andrews on Riverdale, but in between those standout roles, did you know that Luke Perry also starred in a Hallmark Channel movie?

Mind blown, right?

After learning of his tragic and unexpected death earlier this week, we found ourselves reflecting one of Perry’s lesser-known yet equally swoon-worthy roles: as Avery Ford in the network’s 2016 flick, Love in Paradise. In it, Perry plays a famous actor in popular Western films, who is sent by his manager to a Montana dude ranch to rustle up business and re-energize his career. It doesn’t take long for the owner of the ranch, cowgirl extraordinaire Heather Twain (played by Emmanuelle Vaugier), to see him for what he is: a city slicker and phony.  But that doesn’t stop her from falling for him, awkward blunders and all…

Fortunately for us, Hallmark is re-airing Love in Paradise on Tuesday, March 12 at 8pm EST—we will most certainly be tuning in to honor one of our favorite TV heartthrobs, gone far too soon.
