The wait won't be easy, but we have more reason than ever to get excited for Hallmark's upcoming holiday films for 2018: LeAnn Rimes will star in a new Christmas movie called It's Christmas, Eve, coming out next holiday season.

As Country Living originally reported, Rimes will play the lead role of Eve Morgan, a musical school superintendent who becomes involved in helping the in-trouble music department at her hometown high school.

"LeAnn Rimes is such a multi-talented artist, and we have wanted to work with her for years," Michelle Vicary, Crown Media Family Networks' executive vice president said in a statement. "Our viewers are in for a treat as LeAnn is the lead in a Hallmark Christmas movie and has also penned beautiful original songs that she sings in the film."
