Two Days After Barbara Bush’s Passing, Bush Family Welcomes Baby Boy
"The circle of life. God is good."
Two days after former First Lady Barbara Bush passed away at her Houston home the age of 92, the Bush family welcomed a sweet baby boy.
On Friday morning, Barbara and George H.W. Bush's fourth child, Neil, shared a photo of his new grandson on Facebook, revealing that his daughter, Lauren Bush Lauren went into labor two weeks before her due date. On Thursday, Lauren gave birth to a healthy baby boy named Max Walker. Neil, 63, couldn't help but marvel at the timing.
"Maria and I were so blessed to spend lots of time with mom and dad during mom's last weeks and we are so grateful for the condolences and the outpouring of love expressed towards her by many, many friends," Neil wrote alongside the announcement. "Barbara Bush was loved by everyone. She lived a remarkable life blessing family, friends, and total strangers around the world. Mom left on her own terms."
