Kenny Rogers wants to set the tabloid rumors straight: The Gambler is doing all right.

Following "wild misinformation and speculation from several media outlets," an official statement was shared on Rogers' behalf on his social media channels on May 31st. 

"Kenny was recently admitted to a local Georgia hospital and treated for dehydration. He will remain there to complete some physical therapy to get his strength back prior to discharge," the update on the country great begins. "He appreciates the concern and well wishes he has received from his fans and can assure everyone he plans on sticking around through the years to come."

On June 1st, Rogers shared a sweet message and photo on social media to celebrate his 22nd wedding anniversary with his wife, Wanda Miller.

Congratulations, love birds! We're hoping this unfortunate rumor mill will stop for good and we're wishing Mr. Rogers a speedy recovery.
