Rogers has recruited a dream team lineup for his farewell bash in Nashville.
"If you're gonna play the game, boy, You gotta learn to play it right." Indeed, has Kenny Rogers played it right, providing fans with seven incredible decades of music. Now, knowing when to fold 'em, Rogers has announced that his final concert will take place on October 25th at Nashville's Bridgestone arena (If you can't make it to Music City, it will be taped for future broadcast!).
The 78-year-old will be joined by an impressive group of musicians including Dolly Parton, Alison Krauss, Little Big Town, Idina Menzel, Jamey Johnson, and others. Needless to say, we're beyond excited to see Parton and Rogers share the stage one more time. The longtime friends have several beloved hits together including "Real Love" and "Islands in the Stream." The duo have only sang in concert together twice in the past 27 years; their last public performance together was 12 years ago on CMT.
