Candy canes are one of our favorite holiday sweets, and you'd be hard-pressed to introduce us to a flavor we don't adore. (And candy cane sugar cookies? Yes, please. Ditto for candy cane cake bars.)

Well, we come bearing good news for sweet tooths this week: Kellogg's has launched Froot Loops Candy Canes. Available nationwide while supplies last at Kroger and online at GalerieCandy.com here ($3.99 for a box of 12; in-store suggested retail price is $2.99) Each candy cane is a swirl of Toucan Sam's colors and the flavor is reminiscent of the beloved breakfast cereal. We're pretty sure a few of these candy canes would make an excellent stocking stuffer, to boot—or should we say, to beak?

This holiday season, as many of us are separated from loved ones, we love how a simple gesture can brighten up someone's day and put a smile on a friend or family member's face. We may not be magical elves in Santaland, but we have a sneaking suspicion more than a few people on our holiday list will get a box of these delectable treats shipped to their doors. Indeed, our traditions may be changing in light of the coronavirus pandemic, but nothing says "thinking of you" like mailing a classic holiday dessert to someone you care about. (Don't forget to ship a box or two to yourself, too.)

These candy canes are bound to go quickly, so be sure to reserve a few to hang on your Christmas tree or sling around the outside of your Christmas stocking for a pop of bright color before the dessert enthusiasts in your house get to them. Make Toucan Sam proud, Froot Loops fellas and gals, and don't gobble them all up in one fell swoop. Candy cane capisce?
