Indeed, we've often been known to dream about a breakfast (or, ahem, late-late-late night breakfast for dinner) at Waffle House. For sure, their diced and peppered hashbrowns are in a league of their own.

But there's more to the Waffle House experience than the satisfying grub. The retro counter stools. The way the bright yellow sign elicits a smile even if we're simply cruising by in our car. Of course, there's also the fabled jukebox. As tunes spin at your local joint, it's always a special moment when you hear one of your favorites tangle in the air with the intoxicating scent of bacon and waffles. Now, one country mega star has been crowned the King of the Waffle House Jukebox and we couldn't be happier.

Guys and gals: Introducing Mr. Keith Urban as the reigning leading man o' the Waffle House juke. As The Tennessean reports, Keith Urban's "Blue Ain't Your Color," off of the singer's 2016 album Ripcord secured the number one spot on the restaurant's annual top ten list of songs played across 1,750 Waffle House locations around the country. Rihanna's "Love on the Brain" came in second place and Ed Sheeran's "Shape of You" in third. Interestingly, Urban's song was the only country tune to make the cut. Well, there's our excuse to beeline to the nearest Waffle House and crank up some more hits from our favorite genre.
