The royal family is running out of adjectives to describe their excitement over the birth of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s son.

Minutes after the news broke, Kate Middleton and Prince William along with the rest of the family released a joint statement congratulating the couple on the birth.

"The Queen, The Duke of Edinburgh, The Prince of Wales, The Duchess of Cornwall, The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Lady Jane Fellowes, Lady Sarah McCorquodale and Earl Spencer have been informed and are delighted with the news," the statement reads.

Meanwhile, Markle’s mother Doria Ragland, who traveled from the United States to be at her daughter’s side throughout the process, shared that she was “overjoyed” with the successful delivery of baby Sussex.

Cousins George, Charlotte, and little Louis have yet to provide their congratulations, but we have no doubt that they share in their parents’ excitement.

The boy, whose name is forthcoming, is seventh in line to the British throne.
