As the coronavirus pandemic wreaks havoc across our country, more and more, we're taking solace these days in celebrating the little things. A pretty sunset. An unexpected phone call from an old college friend at the exact moment our spirits plateau particularly low. Our favorite Dolly Parton song popping up on a playlist in shuffle mode. What would life be right now without all these precious micro moments?

And barbecue. Of course, barbecue. If you're currently a barbecue enthusiast living near Kansas City, Kansas, we were excited to learn about an innovative new way the folks at Jones Bar-B-Q are getting some delicious 'cue into their customers' hungry bellies: Via a vending machine. Yes, you read that right.

"Check it out! We have a vending machine outside our store filled with our delicious, signature barbecue! Stocked daily with our top-selling items including Chicken Wings, Burnt Ends Sandwich, Turkey Sandwich, Rib Tips, signature sides, bottled barbecue sauce and more," a recent Instagram post read of the news. "The temperature-controlled vending machine is a no-contact dining option that is available 24/7 so you can get our mouthwatering #BBQ whenever your heart desires."

Whatever you crave, there's something for carnivores to enjoy on their next trip to this beloved barbecue institution. And if you don't live in the Kansas City area, be sure to tell all your friends and family who do.

On behalf of all editors at Southern Living, I'd like to formally apologize for inducing a barbecue hankering. How are you being creative about getting your fix at home while we practice social distancing? We can't wait for that lip-smacking moment when this is behind us and we're scarfing down mac-and-cheese and ribs galore at our favorite local BBQ joint.
