Before Chip and Joanna Gaines were household names, Jo — as so many of us fondly know her — launched a humble YouTube series about renovating her farmhouse in Waco. (Shout out to Country Living for unearthing the 2013 vids.)

All shared on her The Magnolia Mom channel, Gaines posted five videos sharing how they made over their entire home, touching on everything from scavenging ebay to laying out her living space. With under five minutes play-time for each video, Gaines sure manages to cram in a lot of information. Watch the first episode below.

Meanwhile, combing through these old archives has us even more excited for the launch of Chip and Joanna Gaines' Magnolia television network.
