WATCH: Joanna Gaines Shares Her Thoughts on Fake Flowers and We Couldn't Agree More
Do you side with the 'Fixer Upper' star, too?
Maybe you wouldn't dare use fake flowers as a place setting ever again after Aunt Sue called you out for it on Thanksgiving '98. Or maybe you're a staunch advocate of faux floral arrangements and won't hear it otherwise. Well, all daffodil-strewn roads lead to one question: What would Joanna Gaines do?
It appears that the Fixer Upper star, is firmly in camp Faux Flowers. "I think flowers offers whimsy to a space. If you look at the space without it, it looks like it's missing something," Gaines told CountryLiving.com in a recent article. But Gaines clearly gets that upkeep and the cost of fresh flowers can be an issue: "I'm all about plants and pots, but you take that to another level with fresh florals everywhere, it just feels like a lot that you've got to maintain," she said, adding that there's no reason to blush over using fake flowers.
Of course, there's a beautiful array of faux florals available online at the couple's Magnolia Market boutique. Shop the collection here, and prove Aunt Sue wrong next Thanksgiving.
