TLC is marking the 20th anniversary of the untimely deaths of John F. Kennedy Jr. and Carolyn Bessette-Kennedy with a television special dedicated to the late couple’s love story.

JFK Jr. and Carolyn’s Wedding: The Lost Tapes features a never-before-seen look at their secret nuptials on Georgia’s Cumberland Island in 1996.  The footage of the surprise wedding was taken by John’s best friend, Billy Noonan, and released exclusively for the special.

A preview (below) of the footage shared by TLC shows plenty of adorable moments, including a sweet kiss between the bride and groom on the dance floor, two children chanting, “John and Carolyn sitting in a tree,” and a moving speech from JFK Jr. himself.

"Carolyn has changed my life in a way that I never thought was possible, and just made me, tonight, the happiest man alive," he said as he raised a glass to his bride.

JFK Jr. and Carolyn’s Wedding: The Lost Tapes is narrated by actress Elizabeth McGovern and features interviews with Noonan, friends and associates of the couple, and even the wedding caterer.

"This special celebration encapsulates their fairytale wedding weekend as the public has never seen, and we are honored to share it with our passionate viewers," TLC's president, Howard Lee, said in a press release.
