We love hearing Jenna Bush Hager tell stories about her grandparents George H.W. and Barbara Bush, and now, we've got an entire book of such tales on deck. Available for pre-order now, Everything Beautiful in Its Time will give readers an intimate look inside the lives of the former President and First Lady, as well as Bush Hager's maternal grandparents, Harold and Jenna Welch. On TODAY this morning, Bush Hager chatted with co-host Hoda Kotb about her upcoming tome for April 2020, which will reveal lessons from her grandparents, as well as share more than a few humorous stories. In the TV segment, we were particularly moved to learn the sweet backstory to the book's title: "Everything Beautiful in Its Time is from a part of the bible, a verse that my sister read at my grandma Jenna's funeral. And that's how Jenna was," Bush Hager says of her namesake, visibly emotional. "She was patient, and waited until everything was supposed to happen. And she also noticed the beauty in life. She never finished college, she lived in the same house my grandpa Harold built her whole life...but she taught us every star in the sky. So she was a self-taught conservationist." What a fitting title for this collection of essays and a heartfelt testament to her grandma. In support of her new book, Bush Hager will be embarking on a book tour, with the majority of the stops in the South, including Texas (TBD locations), Richmond, Raleigh, Charleston, Nashville, Atlanta, and Birmingham, among others. Check out the cover reveal—featuring a striking photo of a young Bush Hager and her beloved "Gampy"—that Bush Hager posted on Instagram below. We will definitely be pre-ordering this one and may even have to schedule a getaway with our girlfriends to catch Bush Hager on book tour. Safe to say we know what our May book club book pick will be. Was this page helpful? Thanks for your feedback! Tell us why! Other Submit
