World, meet "Hal pal!"

Earlier today, Jenna Bush Hager shared that Henry Harold "Hal" Hager entered the world on Friday, August 2nd at 9:02AM.

"We weren't exactly sure about the name," Bush Hager shared when she called into TODAY to share the news of her son's arrival this morning, Monday, August 5th. "Then his big sisters called him 'Hal pal,' and we thought, 'This is just perfect.'"

So what did her father and Former President, George W. Bush, think of the newborn's name? "My dad was a little mad that the name wasn't George," Bush Hager joked to her colleagues on TODAY, before she added that he ultimately conceded and "he said it was a cool name."

In addition to the photos above, Bush Hager also shared several sweet pictures of her daughters jumping happily into the role of big sister to Hal.

Congratulations to the entire Hager family — we hope mama and the baby are doing well and we're looking forward to many more glimpses of "Hal pal" to come.
