With St. Patrick's Day around the corner, the Barefoot Contessa is here to offer us an amazing recipe — no green food dye required.

"I might not be Irish but I still love to celebrate St. Patrick's Day by making Irish Soda Bread. This is a really easy bread to make - no kneading required!! I love it toasted for breakfast with #goodirishbutter. Happy St. Patrick's Day everyone!" Garten captions a photo of her delicious Irish soda bread.

On her site, BarefootContessa.com, Garten shares the full recipe, which only requires a handful of ingredients to make. Featuring dried currants, a bit of orange zest, and plenty of buttermilk, the bread is equally tasty fresh from the oven or at room temperature.

The recipe originally comes from her 2006 book Barefoot Contessa at Home: Everyday Recipes You'll Make Over and Over Again where you'll also find plenty more inspiration for delectable dishes from Ina's home and heart to yours.
