IHOP Celebrates 59th Anniversary with 59-cent Pancakes on Tuesday, July 18
Did someone say pancakes? On Tuesday, July 18, IHOP will be celebrating its 59th anniversary, and you can join in all the food and fun!
Participating locations will be selling a short stack of buttermilk pancakes for just 59 cents in honor of the occasion. That's three pancakes for 59 cents! The offer is actually one penny less than what an original stack cost when the first IHOP was opened in 1958. Ah, those were the days. Get yours while they're still hot from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Tuesday! According to IHOP's website, the deal is limited to one short stack per guest.
Julia Child once famously quipped: "Everything can have drama if it's done right. Even a pancake." And an insanely cheap breakfast—drenched in syrup, soaked in butter, and served fresh from the griddle—is just the right amount of drama for us.
