We Can’t Stop Watching This Video of Cookie Cutters Being Made
We'll admit to spending a lot of time thinking about cookies—baking them, decorating them, sharing them, eating them. But there's one part of the cookie-making process we hadn't considered. That is, until our minds were blown by a viral video this week.
Thanks to Salesforce CEO Vala Afshar, who recently shared a 2018 video from Tool of the Day on Twitter, now we'll never look at cookie cutters the same way again.
The video (below), which currently has more than 11 million views, is made with footage from Cookiecutter.com, a Missouri-based company that manufactures more than 2,500 cookie cutters per day. It shows flimsy pieces of tin being transformed into a gingerbread man, a Christmas tree, a pineapple, and a reindeer with shocking precision. The whole process is truly incredible to watch.
Honestly, if you'd told us a few days ago that we'd be watching a 24-second clip of hydrohalic levels being thrust into a thin tin ring on loop, we would have called you crazy. Yet, here we are.

With Christmas cookie season fast approaching, you better believe we'll be taking better care of our collection of cutters this year!
