Southern Living's editorial guidelines Published on March 18, 2020 Share Tweet Pin Email We're all in need of an extra jolt of joy this week as the coronavirus pandemic rapidly escalates across our country. For us, that just came in the form in this wildly adorable Instagram post from TODAY show co-host Hoda Kotb featuring her daughter Haley Joy. Charles Sykes/Bravo/NBCU Photo Bank via Getty Images Yesterday, Kotb took to the social media platform to share a delightful clip of her three-year-old daughter Haley Joy dancing and playing a tambourine with glee during a virtual music class with her instructor Ryan of Manhattan Aardvarks. Watch the video and feel the contagious, well, joy, below. How cute is this youngster? Last year, following Kotb's maternity leave with her newly adopted daughter Hope Catherine, the TODAY show ran a segment on her experience that featured Haley Joy's music class with Manhattan Aardvarks. "It's great to go to the classes, there are classes out in the park. It's beautiful, and this guy named Ryan is playing the guitar and the kids are all singing songs," she narrates as we see a group of kids and parents at play during one such meetup in Central Park. "It seems like a small moment, but wow. Here I sit, you gotta just soak it in," she continues, visibly emotional. Watch the video clip below. We sure wish we could be joining Kotb, Haley Joy, and the crew on that green grass for a jam session right about now. Until then we're grateful for the many digital platforms that let us keep our little ones entertained and foster their creative spirits during these trying times.
