Human “Heisman Trophy” Seen Searching for Joe Burrow on LSU Campus
“Heard there was a Heisman Trophy looking for Joe Burrow.”
There’s a Heisman Trophy on the loose at Louisiana State University, and she’s looking for Joe Burrow.
Madison Lucas, a 2019 graduate of the school, shared photos (below) of herself dressed as the coveted trophy on Twitter over the weekend. The pics, which show the gilded LSU fan demonstrating the famous “Heisman pose” at various campus landmarks, quickly went viral.
Burrow, who has had a record-breaking season for the first-place LSU Tigers, has the most passing yards in a single season in SEC history.

"In my opinion, he should win it," LSU head coach Ed Orgeron told ESPN of Burrow’s Heisman Trophy candidacy. "In my opinion, he's going to win it. The best thing about Joe is he’s a team player. All he wants to do is win this game. Individual awards are not high on his list. That’s what makes him such a great team player."
The winner of the Heisman Trophy, an annual award given to the most outstanding football player in the NCAA, will be announced on Saturday, December 14.
