No, Chick-fil-A is not a wheatgrass shot and kale-quinoa salad worth of vitamins and minerals. Nor does it pretend to be. But when you're craving the Chick, the Georgia-based fast food chain has a variety of options that won't break the calorie bank.

In a new blog post for January 2019 on the company's blog, The Chicken Wire, writer Emily Allman shared six meals under 600 calories customers can order at Chick-fil-A. Below are three of our favorites:

1. Chicken, Egg & Cheese Bagel

At only 460 calories — and with plenty of satisfying protein — this bagel can be paired with a Fruit Cup (50 calories) and THRIVE Farmer's Coffee (5 calories) to kick off your day with a total of 515 calories. Double up on the fruit cup, we say!

2. Spicy Chicken Sandwich

Yes, you can have your favorite spicy chicken sandwich and enjoy a Superfood Side (140 calories), too. We love this nutritious salad: Broccolini, kale blend, dried sour cherries, and a roasted nut blend topped off with a maple-vinaigrette dressing. One sammie and Superfood Side come in at 590 calories.

3. Market Salad

Filled with shredded cabbage and carrots, tangy blue cheese, and apples, strawberries, blueberries, and more, this grilled chicken salad delivers a serious flavor punch for only 340 calories. For dressings, go with the Light Balsamic Vinaigrette (80 calories). Yes, there's room for dessert. Indulge in the Icedream® Cone (170 calories) for a 590-calorie meal you'll look forward to reordering week after week.
