We know: we're barely into Spring and we're already counting down the days until the Christmas season. But how can you blame us with details of Hallmark Channel's upcoming "Countdown to Christmas" programming already trickling out!

With nine months still to go, we've only got our hands on a few delicious factoids about what to expect from the 2019 lineup, and it's clear that Hallmark is going big for the beloved countdown's 10th anniversary.

First of all, it's going to be huge. Last month, Hallmark revealed that fans can expect the "biggest holiday season yet," featuring a "world record number of original premieres." You might remember that the channel broke its own record with last year's "Countdown to Christmas," premiering an eye-popping 38 new movies, so we can only what's in store this time around.

A-listers like Kristin Chenoweth have already signed on. Filming has reportedly begun on The Christmas Song, which stars Chenoweth of Wicked fame and former NCIS actor Scott Wolf. The Broadway star will play a youth choir director who needs to come up with a big Christmas number for her school's holiday concert.

Blake is back! Hallmark Movies and Mysteries is planning a second Christmas film from executive producer Blake Shelton. Similar to his 2018 film, Time for Me to Come Home for Christmas, this movie will also feature an emotional holiday homecoming and a handful of Shelton's songs.

And for those of you who can't bear waiting, Hallmark announced last month that it will be airing Christmas movies year round.

Stay tuned for more details as we get them, y'all!
