Breaking news for fans of Hallmark Christmas movies! Yes, we know it's only June, but it is never too early to start preparing for Christmas, right? Our friends at Hallmark have let us in on some exclusive casting news for an upcoming film as a part of this year's Countdown to Christmas. It will be the network's 10th anniversary of this special holiday event, and they have already promised a record-breaking number of new movies. We have some big news on one of those films to share with you.

Production hasn't even begun but we can share with all of you that Christmas Duet will bring TV stars Chaley Rose (Code Black, Nashville) and Rome Flynn (The Haves and Have Nots, How to Get Away With Murder) together with Hallmark fan-favorite Teryl Rothery. Hallmarkies will recognize Rothery from Debbie Macomber's Cedar Cove and The Good Doctor.

This brand new movie—one of over thirty new Christmas movies headed to your TV screens this year—will center around a musical theme.

Hallmark executives revealed to us the plot of Christmas Duets as follows:

Adding to the drama, Rothery's character is a writer for a popular travel magazine who has arrived at Averie's inn to consider it for "Top Winter Lodge," and earn her a much-needed cash prize.
