Six Flags Over Georgia Loses Football Bet and Has to Rename Their Coaster "Alabama Scorcher"

And we thought this funny sign war between a Moe's Bar B Que and Chick-fil-A in Alabama was intense.
Well, that infamous fast food feud has got nothing on this hilarious college football rivalry between Six Flags Over Georgia and Alabama Splash Adventure. To up the ante during the National Championship game this past Monday, January 8th, they crafted a unique bet:
Unfortunately for Six Flags, the unthinkable happened: Alabama won. And now, countless Dawgs fans will be roll tiding their way through 11 stories of steel on the renamed Alabama Scorcher during this March's opening weekend festivities. Even better news for 'Bama fans? Some staffers will be sporting Crimson Tide shirts in the Peach State as a hat tip to the NCAA football champs.
