Mansion Global reports that the 17-acre hilltop estate in the affluent Buckhead neighborhood sold for a staggering $17.5 million to televangelist David Turner in 2016. Two years later, the Palace of Versailles-inspired mansion is back on the market, this time for an eye-watering $25 million—making it the most expensive house for sale in the state of Georgia.
Its hilltop location abutting the Chattahoochee River affords the lavish gated estate unapparelled privacy. Among the homes endless luxury amenities, which include dramatic old-world architecture, an underground ballroom, a lighted tennis court, wine cellar, batting cage and full gym, the 70,000-gallon infinity-edge swimming pool is easily the star of the show.
“We have thoroughly enjoyed living here and will be very sad when the day comes to leave. However, we must follow our faith and our faith is leading us elsewhere,” Turner said in a statement.
