George W. Bush’s Hospital Visit Gave His Dad a “Big Morale Boost”
"Big morale boost from a high level delegation," the Bush family patriarch wrote on Twitter.
A very familiar face recently paid a visit to George H.W. Bush's hospital room.
On Thursday the 92-year-old's eldest son (and fellow former president) George W. Bush dropped by the Houston hospital where he is currently being treated for pneumonia. At some point during the visit, the presidential father-son duo posed for a sweet bedside photo, which they both shared on social media.
"Big morale boost from a high level delegation," the Bush family patriarch wrote on Twitter. "No father has ever been more blessed, or prouder."
George W. captioned the photo with an equally positive message on his Instagram account. "Pleased to report that 41 is joyful, strong, and ready to come home soon," the 43rd president wrote alongside the ‘gram.

H.W., the oldest living former president, was admitted to a Houston hospital April 14 "for observation due to a persistent cough that prevented him from getting proper rest," according to spokesman Jim McGrath. He had a mild case of pneumonia, which was treated. He was previously hospitalized in January for an acute respiratory problem stemming from pneumonia.
We're happy to see he's doing well, and look forward to seeing plenty more smiling photos.
