Bush Family Remembers George H.W. on What Would Have Been His 95th Birthday
"Love you more than tongue can tell."
Members of the Bush family are paying tribute to George H.W. Bush on what would have been the late patriarch's 95th birthday.
This morning, granddaughter Jenna Bush Hager shared a photo on Instagram from sister Barbara's wedding last fall. The black-and-white photograph shows Bush Hager's oldest daughter Mila sitting next to the 41st president. The pair is holding hands sweetly.
"Happy Birthday dear Gamps! Today: I imagine the empty chairs next to you filled with those you love. Gans, no doubt next to you, holding your hand," she captioned the ‘gram (below). "Love you more than tongue can tell."

Bush passed away on December 1, 2018, a few months after the death of Barbara, his wife of 73 years. In addition to five children, 14 grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren, the former president also left behind his devoted service dog Sully. The yellow lab, who now works at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, also shared an emotional message to Bush on Instagram.
"I cherish our time together...our moments of quiet reflection, our family time or just enjoying Walkers Point, but especially my daily head rubs," the famous pup wrote alongside a photo of him assisting his late owner in his wheelchair.
"I am thankful to be able to continue your legacy reminding people of the importance of the ADA & helping veterans and military families during their recovery," the post continues. "Thank you for your service to our country...for being my best friend."
Happy birthday, 41. May you continue to rest in peace.
