Down here in the south, the only thing we love more than iced tea in the middle of the summer is free iced tea in the middle of the summer. That's why we're extra excited to share that Starbucks is celebrating their new Teavana iced tea by giving away the refreshing drinks for free (read: zero dollars!) for a limited time only this week.

The coffee giant is unveiling its new tea line to the masses during its "Free Tea Friday" on July 14. For one hour—between 1 and 2 p.m.—Starbucks customers in North America can receive a Tall size Teavana iced tea for free. The drinks, which are created by infusing "tea with tea" to create an "enhanced, perfectly balanced taste," are available in three flavors: pineapple black tea, peach citrus white tea and strawberry green tea.

"You get more of a true tea experience when you flavor green, white or black tea with herbal tea made from botanicals and fruit," Starbucks product developer Melynda Cheng explained in a statement. Better yet, because these new shaken iced teas are made without artificial flavors and sweeteners, there are only 45 calories in a Grande-sized (16 fluid-ounce) beverage.

So mark your calendars and get them while they're hot… er, cold!
