'Forrest Gump' Returns to Theaters Next Month for 25th Anniversary
Brush up on your Forrest and Bubba-isms.
Forrest Gump fans, you're going to want to mark your calendars this June. At participating theaters nationwide, the Academy Award-winning flick will return to the big screen in honor of its 25th anniversary courtesy of Fathom Events on June 23rd and June 25th.
Originally released in 1994, the much celebrated film stars Tom Hanks, Sally Field, Gary Sinise, Robin Wright, Mykelti Williamson, and others, touching on themes of hope, love, and perseverance. Set in Alabama, Vietnam, and beyond, we've certainly quoted a line or two from Forrest, Bubba, and the crew on more than one ocassion.

Starting this Sunday, May 19th through Wednesday, May 22nd, Fathom Events, in partnership with Turner Classic Movies, is bringing back another Southern classic, Steel Magnolias, to theaters across the country to celebrate the film's 30th anniversary.
So correction, ladies: You're going to want to mark your calendars for this May and June.
