Still reeling from the news that the popular home renovation series, Fixer Upper, is coming to end after a successful five-season run? Well, maybe this exciting news will make it easier for HGTV loyalists to say goodbye to one of the most famous (and craftiest) couples in Waco, Texas.

We just learned another prominent and well-known Texan is making a guest appearance on the top-rated TV show, alongside mainstays Chip and Joanna Gaines, of course. Get ready, y’all! Former first lady Laura Bush will be bringing her grace and Southern charm to the final season of Fixer Upper. We’re not sure yet if she’ll assist the design duo with renovating a home in the once-sleepy college town or give viewers a guided tour of the family's sprawling Texas ranch.

Whatever the reason for her appearance, though, we’ll be tuned in all season long. And we already know her daughter, Jenna Bush Hager, will be glued to the couch, considering she was just as upset as most fans to learn the shiplap had sailed for the hit series.

Thankfully, that’s not the only surprise appearance you can expect for the upcoming season. Tim Tebow, ex-NFL quarterback and newly-minted baseball outfielder for the New York Mets, is also making a short stop (no pun intended) in Waco. In addition, HGTV recently released a press release, where Chip assured home improvement enthusiasts that they wouldn’t be disappointed in season five.

"We laid it all on the field and didn't hold anything back," said Chip.

Adding to the enthusiasm was Allison Page, general manager of US programming and development for HGTV, who said that "Fixer Upper fans are going to love this season."

The first episode premieres on Tuesday, November 21 at 9 p.m., where audiences will see a historic family home transformed into a modern-day beauty for Austin transplants Matt and Samantha.
