Do you follow Chip and Jo on instagram more closely than your own best friends? Is your ideal summer vacation getaway Waco, Texas? Is "silobration" a household term in your book? It's official: You're a 'Fixer Upper'' fanatic.
Well, you're in good company. In addition to the hordes of fellow superfans, threre's Dr. Kwandaa Roberts, a Pennsylvania-based OB-GYN, who has taken her adoration of the show to new heights by redesigning doll houses, Chip'n'Jo-style. Dr. Roberts' hobby all started when she bought her three-year-old daughter a dollhouse for Christmas, only to gut and redecorate the entire creation, with design inspired by her beloved television show.
"The dollhouse was a way for me to have a creative outlet for designing that didn't involve me redecorating my house every 6 months," Dr. Roberts told Columbia, South Carolina's WIS10 TV. "I have designed homes for my friends in the past, I surprised a friend with a total apartment makeover when I was a medical resident, and he cried at the 'reveal.' It was one of the best feelings I've ever experienced."
Now a dollhouse design pro, Dr. Roberts has shared photos of her chic marvels on instagram, and won the praise of many media outlets. 'Fixer Upper' may be drawing to a close, but could Fixer Upper: Dollhouse Edition' be headed to HGTV in the near future?
