Art Deco, Darlings! Vintage Rings Are One of The Year's Hottest Wedding Trends

Etsy's annual wedding trends report is here.

Etsy has released its annual wedding trends guide, and from '70s style to crystal and soap party favors, we're loving the predictions for what we'll see at weddings this year.

And as lovers of all things vintage, we're particularly excited to see the resurgence of vintage wedding and engagement rings. According to the e-commerce giant, there's been a 20% increase in searches on Etsy for vintage wedding rings in the last six months (compared to the same time the previous year), and the trend is continuing to gain momentum.

"Vintage rings are becoming an increasingly popular wedding trend and there's no surprise as to why: these one-of-kind dazzlers not only offer unique style and heirloom quality, but are also an easy way for couples to shop sustainably," Dayna Isom Johnson, Etsy's Trend Expert, shared with Southern Living. "There's also something really romantic about imagining the love stories tied to the ring from previous decades, and then adding your very own love story to the next."

In terms of the style of rings shoppers seek, it seems that geometric art deco era rings are especially in vogue. For art deco wedding rings, Etsy reports a 5% spike in searches in the last six months (again, compared to the same time in the previous year). Like what you see in the picture above? The Vintage Sapphire Diamond Engagement Gold Ring can be purchased on the site for a cool $1,679.98. For something even bolder, we're loving this Vintage 1930s Art Deco Sapphire-and-Diamond Engagement Ring, available on Etsy for $3,100, and pictured below.
