When the going gets tough, the tough get talking.

Pep talking, that is. Such is the case for one inspired youngster who decides to give his football teammatesan extra motivational push before a recent football game. Hailing from Rising Star, Texas, about two-and-a-half hours Southwest of Dallas, 10-year-old Lane Bridges has captivated the hearts of many after his pump-up speech went viral.

"Let me tell you, what I saw....I want to see all of you do that, because if you do that you're determinated [sic] to the game!" he passionately says at one point in his talk to his fellow Eastland Mavericks. "Be you, but also have passion, be determined, beat this team, be a Maverick." Watch the video below.

Lane's mother, Courtney, who posted the above video, spoke with TODAY Parents about her son's ever-positive attitude: “You’ll see Lane in his uniform cheering the loudest. When the kids come off the field he gives them a big pat on the back and tells them they did a great job.”
