Hint: Cookies are involved.

What's the only thing better than a warm doughnut to start a chilly autumn day? Nine out of 10 Southerners say a cookie and a doughnut, and we surely agree with that analysis. Well, Dunkin' Donuts is marrying the best of each sugar-infused world into hybrid cookie-inspired doughnuts landing in eateries on Monday, November 20th.

If the mere phrase "cookie-inspired doughnuts" isn't enough to whet your appetite, perhaps this will: The cookie-flavored treats include the Frosted Sugar Cookie Donut, Gingerbread Cookie Donut, and Snowflake Sprinkle Donut (this dessert will also be available as a Munchkins donut hole). Indeed, these new releases certainly seem like a good excuse to indulge in a doughnut + seasonal coffee pairing.

Luckily for us, Dunkin' Donuts is also bringing back the much adored Peppermint Mocha and Brown Sugar Cinnamon-flavored coffee beverages. Additionally, the breakfast empire will relaunch their famed "Joy" holiday cups, which convey not only the merriment of the season, but our personal sentiment as we dig into our Gingerbread Cookie Donut.
