Small Texas Dog Saves 11-Year-Old Girl from Would-Be Kidnapper
A pint-sized pup from Texas being called a hero after police say he saved his young owner from a kidnapping attempt over the weekend.
According to Click 2 Houston, an 11-year-old girl was walking her family's two-year-old Beagle mix named Ray in the Houston suburb of Pasadena on Sunday morning, when a strange man grabbed her arm and attempted to pull her into his car. The brave little dog reportedly bit the suspect in the leg, allowing his human to run to safety.
"He grabbed her by the arm and said, 'Come on,'" Bianca Hernandez, the victim's sister, told the station.
Sensing that her attacker wasn't "any regular person," Ray got involved, Hernandez explained.
"He bit the man's left leg, she then ran home," she added.
