Big news out of The Most Magical Place on Earth!

After years of speculation, the Orlando Business Journal has finally confirmed that the Walt Disney World Swan & Dolphin Resort will be adding a third tower to its sprawling lakeside footprint.

The new 14-story, 349-room tower will be built on the current site of the resort’s tennis courts. It will reportedly feature 198 traditional rooms, plus 151 suites offering private executive meeting spaces and the latest technology. The brand-new tower will also boast its own elevated pool deck, full-service health club, 75-seat restaurant, and 50-seat lounge.

More information is expected to be revealed later this week, but Orlando Business Journal was able to share that the Swan & Dolphin’s new hotel building will include more than 21,000 square feet of meeting space spread out over three floors. And the best part? The top floor meeting space will offer views of the nighttime spectaculars at Epcot and Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

Construction is slated to begin soon, and the new tower is expected to open sometime in 2020.
