WATCH: "Grandpa" Hilariously Documents Babysitting His Daughter's Dog
Somebody get this man some grandkids!
To say that Larry Specksgoor was excited to watch his daughter Meghan's dog over the holidays would be an understatement.
Meghan, who hails from Midlothian, Virginia, shared her dad's hilarious text messages documenting his time with his "granddog"—her four-year-old German Shepherd named Chance—on Twitter last week, and the sweet correspondence quickly went viral.
In one text written alongside a photo of the two of them in the car, Larry asked on behalf of Chance, "Grandpa wants to know what kind of take out I can have? We are starving."
Later, as they were enjoying some sugar free yogurt together, Larry texted his daughter again. "Hate to keep bothering you mom, but we really need to hang out with gramps more," he wrote.
Meghan told ABC News her father and her dog also "went to Petco to get his nails done because he needed his nails trimmed."
"He desperately wants grandchildren," she added with a laugh.
You can say that again!
