Welcome to winter, where you've re-watched 'Downton Abbey' (twice) and are diligently making your way through all of the new movies coming to Hallmark this month. And yes, you've cozied up with The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel for about eight hours straight earlier this month. But between watching the Golden Globes last weekend and your book club discussion turning into a three-hour gab fest about Prince Philip, there's only one thing you can really think about: When will Season 3 of 'The Crown' air? Well, according to a recent article on Newsweek, the end of 2018 may be likely (Friendly reminder: That's this year!), especially since pre-production is said to have commenced in late 2017. Meanwhile, the BBC hints that a 2019 air date for Season 3 is what's in the cards. Either way, we're at the bare minimum about a year out from rejoining Queen Elizabeth and her court. On the bright side, at least that gives us some time to start making a dent in the 336-page tome that is The Crown: The Official Companion, Volume 1: Elizabeth II, Winston Churchill, and the Making of a Young Queen (1947-1955).
