You may love Cracker Barrel for its homemade buttermilk biscuits and eclectic general store, but here's a heartwarming reason to love the beloved chain: This Easter, Cracker Barrel teamed up with Operation Homefront to provide meals to military families across the country.

On Good Friday, March 30th, the company donated their Heat n' Serve Easter Family Meals To-Go, which include a traditional spiral sliced ham, mashed potatoes, blackberry cobbler, and more great eats, to around 400 military families, feeding roughly 4,000 people. See some posts spotlighting the giveaway below.

Our family is so grateful to Operation Homefront and Cracker Barrel Old Country Store for this amazing Easter dinner! Hubby will enjoy it before he heads to work tonight! #crackerbarrel

"Military families make incredible sacrifices in service to our country," said Cracker Barrel Manager of Corporate Citizenship Sloane Lucas in a company press release. "Spending quality time together around a meal is a luxury for most families these days, but especially military families who face the extra challenges of lengthy deployments and transitions back to civilian life."
