You are tired. You are shopped out. Your trunk will soon be piled high with boxes of breakfast cereal, tissues, and frozen berries (for those smoothies you are definitely maybe going to make).

Now what? Wait in the Costco line for a slice of pizza or snack at the Costco food court? No thanks, but oh, how that pizza beckons. But what's a guy or gal to do in order to beat the food court lines? Try this, sayeth our friends at Reader's Digest: "To skip the food court line all you have to do is order what you want at the register when you cash out for your groceries," writes Morgan Cutolo, referencing an "Ask Me Anything" thread with a Costco food court employee on Reddit. "Then, go over to the pickup area in the food court, show them your receipt, and you'll get your food."

Another little-known way to avoid the lengthy lines in the food court that Cutolo shares is is placing your order before you start shopping and stopping by the food court to retrieve your food on the way out. (This, of course, only works if the lines are relatively short when you enter the store.)
