In recent years, the vegan trend has gone mainstream, and one peddler of meatless burgers has got some impressive data to prove it: Don Lee Farms has sold more than a million of their organic, plant-based burgers in under two months, becoming the fastest growing product in its category, according to a company press release.

"The fact that our Organic Plant-Based Burger is made with plants and not with science has resonated with people. No one wants to eat a burger hidden with artificial or modified ingredients if they have the choice," said Danny Goodman of Don Lee Farms in the statement. "They want natural. They want organic. They want real."

In addition to being vegan, the burgers are also gluten-free and pack an impressive fifteen grams of protein per patty. Thanks to the beet juice in the patties, each burger also "bleeds" like real meat.

We don't know about you, but we're excited to give these nutrient-dense burgers a whirl now that grill season is in full swing.
